Behavior support for autism families in Los Angeles

Los Angeles families navigate autism support through Regional Centers, insurance-funded ABA, and school IEPs, three systems, three vocabularies, and a lot of driving. What most LA parents never get is someone in their corner teaching them the skills directly. That is the gap this consulting fills, over video, with zero time on the 405.

Sessions run in Pacific Time for families across LA County and beyond, built around your child and your household, whether that is a Valley backyard or a Koreatown apartment.

Funding & support in California

Jess's consulting is private-pay and does not bill insurance directly. Some families use HSA/FSA funds or flexible program dollars where their plan's rules allow, so check with your administrator. The free discovery call costs nothing and will help you map your options.

  • Regional Centers (Lanterman Act)

California's Regional Centers coordinate and fund services for eligible children with developmental disabilities, a system unique to California and worth fully enrolling in.

  • Insurance-mandated coverage

California law requires many health plans to cover behavioral health treatment for autism; coverage typically applies to licensed in-network clinical services, so check your plan.

Serving the wider Los Angeles area

Families anywhere in the region, from Long Beach, Pasadena, Glendale, Burbank, Santa Clarita, Torrance, The Valley to Orange County, and everywhere in between, can work with Jess online. If you can get online, you are close enough.

Los Angeles families ask

How does this fit with our Regional Center services?

It complements them. Regional Center services are delivered by provider agencies on their timelines; parent-led consulting gives you your own expertise, useful while waiting for services to start, alongside them, and long after a given program ends.

Between school, therapies, and traffic, we have no time. How much does this demand?

Less than one more clinic commute. Sessions are video calls, and the strategies are woven into routines you already run: dinner, bath, bedtime. The goal is to lower the daily load, not add to it.
